Management of the Windows servers running on zBx is limited when using the zEnterprise Unified Resource Manager. There is much more that needs to be done to make these servers a more "integral part" of the zOs ecosystem. Cross-platform Application Performance Management, Workload Management (Job Scheduling), industry strength File Transfer, to mention just a few.
The Windows (or Linux) applications that rely for a part on Mainframe data are indeed the best candidates to move to the zBx, but to then really manage and monitor them IN CONTEXT with the zOs system, the management & monitoring tools need to be very tightly integrated for the best results.
But as I said, I think that supporting Windows is an important step to make our datacenters less complex, more efficient and ultimately more reliable. More on my opinion about this announcement can be found here: http://bit.ly/ss2mt0

Re: Facebook power users ‘have gone to Google+ and Twitter’

Is this for real ?

Re: The Secured and Unsecured world of Facebook

wonderful, its the kind of thought provoking writing that that leaves you wanting for more. kudos to you sneha bhattacharjee.

Re: The Secured and Unsecured world of Facebook

quite a bit of information about the new look FaceBook!! The security wows have always been there with FaceBook... giving more of settings to play with makes you even more concerned with privacy. And I believe the number of security options FaceBook is providing now can easily confuse some normal users. But I also feel that is something which is necessary and its the user who has to acclimatize to it.

Re: The Sound Cloud

Very nice app..... love to record and upload my recordings.... i will be a rock star

Re: Angry Birds

Amazing Game......

Re: The Biggest Tech IPOs of 2011 [INFOGRAPHIC]

Its really amazing
